Many people have attempted to speak for Jesus. Artists have painted him. Writers have described him. And singers have sung all about him. When it comes down to it, Jesus is real and is most vividly and beautifully presented in Scripture itself. But the unveiling of Jesus never stops. Jesus is a mystery. In his letter to the Colossians, Paul writes, “God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Jesus is alive. And he’s alive in us. He’s in the process of making us into real people who live real faith.
